Hola from an American living in Mexico
I am retired and living in a small fishing village 30 or so minutes from Puerto Vallarta. I’ve tried local and online Spanish courses but keep going back to Duolingo, which is practice but really isn’t ideal for learning, such as verbs, which are my nemesis and crucial to speaking properly. I learned French and German, as a teenager, going to school in Switzerland and Germany for 2 years each. I found the Guild article about the Present Subjunctive which totally confused me elsewhere to be very clear and helpful. So here I am.
