I made a free pronunciation game in different languages. Looking for feedback.

Hi everybody,

I created a free pronunciation mini-game for different languages (including Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian). You can test your pronunciation skills and get streaks for speaking the right answers.

Is the game fun? Effective for language learning? Any suggestions for improvements? I’d love to hear what you think.

Thanks a bunch!

FYI: I’m a Chinese teacher who is learning how to code on the side. This is my personal project but I’m hoping it will also be useful to other language teachers and students.

Hi, hugoxiong!
Thanks a lot for creating this! I’m a Spanish tutor and I usually recommend my students to use Google Translate to practice pronunciation, but this is a lot more fun!
I noticed that phrases start to repeat very soon after starting, tho.

I’d love to be able to add phrases for my students, so I tried to create an account but I’m stuck at the “select a school” part. I’m not affiliated with any school. Is there any way to skip this step?
